Hiab crane parts

Spare and replacement parts for Hiab knuckle boom cranes, new and used: seal kits and cylinders, control valves and hydraulics, boom, slewing and outrigger parts, winch parts, controls and safety switches. Give us the model and serial number and we will track the part down and quote it.

Robert's Diesel Works is an independent crane parts, service and repair shop in Orlando, Florida. We are not Hiab and we are not a Hiab dealer. Our parts desk finds spare parts for Hiab knuckle boom cranes one crane at a time: we identify the part from the model and serial number, quote it new or used, and ship it to the job, whether the crane is on a truck, a dock or a deck.

How to get a price on a Hiab part

Hiab has built loader cranes for a long time, and the right part can change from one serial range of a model to the next. A quote goes fastest when we have:

  • The model, copied exactly as it reads on the crane's serial plate or the boom decal
  • The serial number from the same plate, plus the year of manufacture if the plate shows it
  • The part number, if it is stamped or tagged on the part, or a photograph of the part in place
  • The mounting: truck, trailer, deck, dock or a fixed base
  • The delivery address, so the freight is priced with the part

Call (877) 697-6272 during business hours, or send the details with the form at the bottom of this page. Not sure what the part is called? Tell us what it does and where it sits. One photograph of the plate and one of the part usually settles it.

Need a part for a Hiab crane?

Read us the model and serial number off the crane's plate, add the part number or a photograph, and we will find the part and quote it, new or used.

If a part fits a Hiab crane and it is missing from this list, ask for it anyway. Most of what we quote is found for one crane at a time.

Truck, marine and dock cranes

Most Hiab cranes we hear about are mounted on trucks. Others work on boats, barges and docks. A crane that lives near salt water goes through seals, pins, bushings, hoses and electrical connections faster than one inland, and the part that stops the job is often a seized pin or a corroded switch rather than a big component. Tell us where the crane works and we will quote the right hardware for it, and flag the parts next to the one that failed. For other marine and deck cranes, see marinecrane.net.

New or used Hiab parts

Both, and we will price both if you ask. Wear items such as seals, hoses, filters, slide pads and wire rope should be new. On an older crane, a good used cylinder, valve bank or slewing part is often the difference between putting the crane back to work and parking it. We describe the condition of a used part before you buy it.

Having the part fitted

If the part is only half the job, bring the crane to our shop at 906 West Gore St in Orlando. We reseal cylinders, find hydraulic leaks, sort out slewing, outrigger, winch and control faults, and repair the truck under the crane. See Hiab crane service and repair.

Shipping

We ship Hiab crane parts across the United States and overseas. Freight is quoted with the part, so tell us where it is going, and for an export order, which port or freight forwarder you use.

Common questions

Are you a Hiab dealer?

No. Robert's Diesel Works is an independent shop. We are not Hiab, we are not an authorized Hiab dealer, and we are not affiliated with Hiab or Cargotec. We source Hiab crane parts by model and serial number, new and used, and we service and repair Hiab knuckle boom cranes. For factory warranty work or a new crane, contact Hiab or its dealer network.

Can I order Hiab parts online?

Not from us. Every part is checked against the model and serial number before it is quoted, so there is no cart for Hiab parts. Send the details through the form and we reply by phone or email with a price. Our online catalogue, the PM parts store, carries PM crane parts only.

Do you have a Hiab parts manual?

We do not publish manuals on this site, and you do not need one to order: the model and serial number are what we identify the part by. If you have the page from your own book, send a photograph of it with the item circled.

The plate is missing or I cannot read it. Can you still help?

Usually. Send photographs of the whole crane, the boom decals and the part. The shape of the crane, the number of extensions and the cylinder sizes narrow it down quickly.

Do you work on other knuckle boom cranes?

Yes. We service and repair knuckle boom cranes, boom trucks and the diesel trucks under them. For used cranes and crane trucks, see drywallcranes.com.
